As if all that weren't enough

Journal Entry: Mon May 19, 2008, 9:30 AM
In addition to the crap in the previous entry, I woke up this morning to find that my cell phone died. Why that happened, I have no idea. It was 3/4ths-charged when I went to sleep last night. Whatever the problem, I'll probably end up replacing the phone.

I do not need this shit right now.

Edit, 5/21/08: Three boxes of stuff arrived from my mother sometime yesterday. It wasn't until late evening that I discovered them sitting outside my front door when I got home. That was a stupid place for the UPS guy to leave them, especially since mom sent four boxes. Who knows where the 4th one went. And here my mother is trying to move to a new place right now...

That's the main lesson I've learned: As long as I am alive, the shit never stops happening. And that is all that I can ever expect.

When mine used to do that, I'd take out the battery, plug in the phone, and then put the battery back in. The phone ultimately did die, but it worked for a little while at least.

Have you tried Volt? They're another staffing company.

Will add that to the list. I heard from someone yesterday that Venturi is good; they'll test you to see what abilities you have so they'll know the best job to put you in.

Of course, there is the fact that no matter what staffing company we're discussing, there is no way for it to contact me other than e-mail.

I already tried the Tmobile website. Went to the customer service page. Best thing I got was a mapping application showing nearby vendors for phones. Yep, that just solved my problem right off the bat. :sarcasticclap:

I didn't work. I wasn't surprised, not in the least.
